We have been blessed by the beautiful old buildings that were
provided by previous generations of parishioners at Christ Church. We have the English Gothic style church completed
in 1862, the Federal style Field House from around 1800, and the Outreach Center (a former New York State Armory), that
was built in 1858, and purchased by the Church in 1873.
In recent years, it was decided that in order to
offer better ministry to our current fellow parishioners, and future generations of parishioners, we had a need to improve
our current spaces, and create new spaces. We built our Parish Center and refurbished the Field House about five
years ago. In the past couple of years, the comfortable new Fellowship Room, remodelled our, new Chapel and
our Welcome Center were built. All of these new spaces will help current and future generations to have quality
space for the many ministries of our Parish to better serve our Church Family, and our community.
Also in the past couple of years, the Church
buttresses were rebuilt. We have beautifully refinished hardwood floors, new carpeting, restored
mosaic tile on the altar, walls refinished and painted, and a number of other things that have been done. Our Church
looks great!
All this work was made possible by the generosity
shown in our Capital Campaign by our fellow parishioners.
